“I am making a difference now by using my degree to work with elementary-aged children who are experiencing some type of ongoing trauma in their lives. I am able to use different modalities such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and other interventions to help them process their trauma, learn coping and social skills, as well as be an extra support system for them to rely on.”
