When Lauren Patton came to Missouri Western, she already had life goals in mind. Her advisor told her about the new bachelor’s degree in the growing field of population health management, and she knew immediately it was what she wanted. Lauren’s hard work and dedication paid off; she received several job offers in her field before she had even graduated.
“I want to help people live healthier lives and I have a passion for public health,” Lauren said of her decision to take on the new degree program. “I am really excited to be the first to receive the degree, but I am more excited that I can help people live healthier lives.”
After graduation, Lauren accepted a position at Cerner Corporation in Kansas City.
