griffon face max the vaxAug. 13, 2021–Missouri Western State University will launch a vaccine incentive program for students and employees. The program, Max the Vax, will award up to $5,000 in cash to students and employees who have been vaccinated.

“The excitement is building as we near the start of the fall semester, and we want to do everything we can to ensure that we provide every student with an engaging, on-campus experience,” said Dr. Elizabeth Kennedy, Missouri Western’s president. “One way to do that is to get as many members of our campus community as possible vaccinated.”

Max the Vax is designed to do just that. Students and employees who provide proof of vaccination to Missouri Western will be entered in a series of drawings, culminating with a $2,500 cash prize for one student and one employee to be drawn Oct. 8, and a $5,000 cash prize for one student and one employee to be drawn Oct. 15.

Weekly prizes include $500 cash prizes for both students and employees, as well as Barnes & Noble College Bookstore Gift Certificates for students and Flex Dining Dollars and reserved parking students for employees. Drawings will be held every Friday, starting Aug. 27 for employees and Sept. 3 for students.

All who enter will receive a free Max the Vax t-shirt.

Details about eligibility for the program as well as instructions for students and employees to enter can be found at missouriwestern.edu/covid-19/max-the-vax/
