Holi, the Hindu Festival of Color, will be celebrated at Missouri Western State University from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 29, in the Kelley Commons outside of Blum Student Union. The celebration is free and open to the public.

Holi celebrates the beginning of spring and the triumph of good over evil. Missouri Western’s celebration will include delicious Indian food, fun music and the chance to throw bright-colored powder at other participants. Be sure to bring a camera – the bright colors make for great photo opportunities. Also be sure to wear old clothes, as the powder can stain.

Missouri Western’s Holi celebration is hosted by the Indian-Nepali Student Association.
