The Chinese Spring Festival that was canceled by inclement weather on Feb. 20 has been rescheduled. The Department of English and Modern Languages and the Office of International Services will celebrate the Chinese New Year from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6 in the Hoff Conference Rooms, Blum Student Union rooms 218-219.

Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival, is celebrated on the first new moon of the lunar year and is the most significant holiday in China. The public is invited to join students, faculty and staff in celebrating the start of The Year of the Dog. The celebration will include dances, games, gifts and food, along with explanations of the many traditions. Admission is free.
