Faculty members at Missouri Western State University will participate in a symposium called “With this Ring: The Future of Same-Sex Marriages” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 in Popplewell Hall, room 304. The symposium is free and open to the public.

Drs. Jonathan Euchner, Steven Greiert, Melinda Kovàcs, Edwin Taylor and moderator Dan Radke will discuss the politics and constitutionality of this current political issue. They will explore the status of same-sex marriages in the United States and whether the equal protection clause demands they be recognized.
