The Missouri Western State University Faculty Piano Trio will present their first performance together Sunday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Potter Hall Theater on the Missouri Western campus. Admission is free.

The trio is composed of music faculty members Dr. Matt Edwards, piano; Rico McNeela, violin; and Sascha Groschang, cello. They will perform trios by Joseph Haydn, Antonin Dvorak, and the Four Seasons in the Tango Nuevo Style by Astor Piazzolla.

Dr. Edwards is associate professor of music and director of keyboard studies at Missouri Western. His performances have taken him throughout the United States and South Korea. McNeela is director of orchestral activities at Missouri Western and the conductor and music director for the St. Joseph Symphony. Groschang is principal cellist with the St. Joseph Symphony and teaches cello at Missouri Western.
