Missouri Western State University will welcome the families of students to campus to celebrate Family Weekend Friday and Saturday, Sept. 13 and 14. In addition to home soccer and football contests, the weekend features a variety of fun events for the whole family.

Friday’s events include:

  • Griffon soccer vs. Wayne State College, 4 p.m., Spratt Memorial Stadium
  • Free performance by mentalist Chris Carter, 7 p.m., Spratt Hall Kemper Recital Hall, Room 101

Saturday’s events include:

  • President’s Pancake Brunch, 10-11 a.m., Remington Hall Atrium. There is no charge, but reservations are required. Please email engagement@missouriwestern.edu by Sept. 6.
  • Free planetarium showings, Bushman Planetarium in Agenstein Hall
    • Cardboard Rocket, 11 a.m.
    • Wonders of the Universe, noon
    • The Serengeti, 1 p.m.
  • Student organization activity booths, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Remington Hall Atrium
  • Tailgate, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Lot H
  • Griffon football game vs. Missouri S&T, 6 p.m., Spratt Memorial Stadium
