The department of economics, sociology and political science at Missouri Western State University will sponsor a forum for candidates in two Buchanan County races at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 in the Kemper Recital Hall inside Spratt Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Candidates for Buchanan County Sheriff, Pat Grove and Mike Strong, and Western District Commissioner, Ron Hook and P.J. Kovac, will be questioned by political science faculty members and given the opportunity to present closing statements at the end of the forum.
