Traditional Brazilian culture will be featured as the Center for Multicultural Education at Missouri Western State University presents Brazil Cultura at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 in the Fulkerson Center on Missouri Western’s campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Brazil Cultura features a band and traditional costumed samba dancers. During the performance, group members will tell the audience about the costumes, the movements of the dancers and the history of the dance.

In addition, Aramark, Missouri Western’s food service provider, will offer a sampling of Brazilian food. Featured items include churrasco (barbecued pork), pao de queijo (cheese bread) and suco tropical (punch).
