Major: Vocal Performance
Rhonda Gierstorf is a nontraditional student and a vocal studies major within the Department of Music. She was nervous about performing in front of a crowd when she was younger, but as she entered adulthood, she realized that performing was her passion. At Missouri Western, she has discovered the courage and love for performance, with support from the University’s faculty and her fellow students. Rhonda entered the program thinking that the younger students would view her as an “old lady” in the classroom, but she discovered that they accepted and supported her dreams. Missouri Western has truly shown Rhonda that everything is possible!
