Why choose Strategic Communication?

Missouri Western’s Strategic Communication graduates learn real-world skills real-world skills they can take straight to the workplace.

Students work individually and as teams on actual public relations campaigns for real clients. They also learn from professors with successful careers in public relations who also help students find internships with local and regional agencies and companies.

You will learn strategies to communicate brand messages while fostering relationships with the media and the public. From integrated communications campaigns to preparing speeches and press conferences, you will learn to strike the balance between organizational goals and what target audiences need to know.
