Governor Grimwood has provided the following update and timeline for the presidential search:
The committee has already, and continues to receive many applications from highly-qualified candidates across the nation. The search committee will meet on Thursday, July 16, to review applications.
After completing its review, the committee expects to select approximately 10 candidates for virtual interviews via Zoom in late July.
Following the Zoom interviews, a group of finalists will be identified and invited to participate in on-campus interviews, which will be planned for August. The campus community, staff, faculty and students, will have opportunities to attend an on- campus session as part of the interview process.
The anticipated start date for the new president remains on track for early fall.
