Nuchelle Chance

Dr. Nuchelle Chance, assistant professor of psychology, recently co-authored an article in the Journal of Comparative and International Higher Education. The article “Exploring Scholarly Productivity, Supports, and Challenges of Multinational Women Graduate Students During a Global Pandemic” aimed to highlight the tensions that multinational women graduate students experienced due to the change in delivery methods caused by the pandemic. The authors further focused on areas that institutions should address, along with the type and level of support provided to their graduate student population.

Dr. Chance co-authored this article with members of Dr. Tricia Farwell (Middle Tennessee State University) and Dr. Joanne Hessmiller, all members of the COVID G.A.P. They are a group of women scholars seeking to understand better the ongoing impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on academics in higher education and scholarly activity.
