morise logoFeb. 28, 2025–Missouri Western State University’s Career Development Center will host MO-Rise on March 4 from 4:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Fulkerson Center.

This annual event offers opportunities to meet and network with science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) professionals and students from the greater St. Joseph and Kansas City areas. The event will feature a private tour of the Houlne Center for Convergent Technology, food and networking opportunities for students to connect with potential employers.

EVENT AGENDA

  • 4:45 p.m.: Registration and Houlne Center for Convergent Technology Tours
  • 6 p.m.: Welcome
  • 6:10 p.m.: Roundtable Discussions
  • 7:15 p.m.: Networking

The event is free to Missouri Western students, alumni, faculty and staff. Registration is free. 

Employer registration is $50.00. Registered employers will be listed in the event program and receive a 5-foot table for a tabletop display and materials. Roundtable discussions may include alumni and students with degrees related to employers’ job opportunities.
