LB Galbearth Jr

Feb. 15, 2024–The Center for Diversity and Inclusion at Missouri Western will host L.B. Galbearth Jr. at 5 p.m. on Feb. 21 in the Bebe and Crosby Kemper Recital Hall in Leah Spratt Hall, room 101.

Galbearth received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Missouri Western in 1994 and holds a graduate certificate in emergency and disaster management and a master’s in health sciences from Touro University in 2011. Galbearth made history as the first U.S. Army officer to complete the Certificate of Management Excellence from the Harvard Business School. He is also the first Department of Defense military officer to complete the Advanced Management Leadership Program at Oxford University Said Business School. 

Galbearth will be speaking on his experiences as a Black student at Missouri Western and his life experiences in the U.S. Army and hopes to encourage students to pursue greatness.
