Jan. 31, 2023–Missouri Western State University will host approximately 400 students from 26 area high schools for Day 1 of the Future Business Leader of America District Leadership Conference on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

The students will gather to meet and compete. Competitive events cover a wide range of business-related subjects, including business plans, client service, social media strategies, job interviews, public speaking and more. 

  • 9 a.m.: Student Opening Session, Fulkerson Center
  • 9:40 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Competitive Events, Blum Student Union and Spratt Hall

Students will compete for the right to advance to Day 2 of the District Leadership Conference, to be held at Northwest Missouri State University on Feb. 8 and ultimately the State Leadership Conference in Springfield, Missouri, in April.
