Avenue City Elementary gifted students visited the Engineering Technology Department at Missouri Western State University on Monday, Oct. 3. Their challenge was to build a bridge in 45 minutes. Students measured, cut, and assembled a bridge in record time. Thanks to teacher Carol Williams from the Avenue City School District for bringing her students to our labs and constructing a hands-on activity.
