June 27, 2019—The Department of Biology at Missouri Western State University will join the Remington Nature Center, Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge, Missouri Master Naturalists and Pony Express Amphibian & Reptile Society to present the eighth annual Herp-O-Rama from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 29 at the Remington Nature Center, 1502 MacArthur Drive in St. Joseph.

Herp-O-Rama features live animal displays of both native and exotic reptiles and amphibians, including snakes, turtles and tortoises, with herpetologists on hand to answer questions. There will also be crafts for children and the Nature Center’s monthly scavenger hunt.

Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors 60 and older, $2 for youth ages 4-15, and free for children 3 and younger.
