postcard design for Senior Art Exhibit features multi-colored brush strokesApril 9, 2019—The Potter Art Gallery at Missouri Western State University will host the second of two Senior Art Exhibits from April 10 through April 19. An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 12 in the gallery. The reception is free and open to the public.

The exhibit celebrates the work of senior students in the Department of Art. Featured artists include: Alexis Carr, St. Louis, Missouri; Alyssa Filger, Plattsburg, Missouri; Amanda Francis, Nelson, Missouri; Lacey Hawkins, Kansas City, Missouri; Kelly Hickey, Council Bluffs, Iowa; Madison McKinley, St. Joseph; Sheridan Mounce, Trenton, Missouri; Shane Mountain, Perry, Illinois; Austin Myers, Olathe, Kansas; Ally Ockenfels, Trenton, Missouri; Chloe Oyler, Trenton, Missouri; Maggie Reil, Easton, Missouri; Joe Smith, St. Joseph; Austin Vance, Lexington, Missouri; Jaylen Words, St. Joseph.

The Potter Art Gallery is located inside the front entrance of Potter Hall, on the Missouri Western campus. Regular hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and during performances in Potter Theatre. There is no admission charge for the gallery.
