The Black Student Union at Missouri Western State University will hold its fifth annual BSU Pageant at 7 p.m. Friday, April 14 in the Kemper Recital Hall, Spratt Hall room 101. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The BSU Pageant gives intelligent, community-conscious and culturally aware young men and women the opportunity to earn a $500 scholarship. Contestants will showcase a talent, give a speech, answer an interview question and perform the African American art form of hip-hop within a cypher.
