Because of the rainy weather, the celebration of the Indian spring festival of Holi originally scheduled April 5 has been postponed. It will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 in the open area between Blum Student Union and Remington Hall. The celebration is free and open to the public.

Holi is the Festival of Color, celebrating spring and brotherhood. The celebration includes the throwing of color powders, so guests are advised to wear clothes that they don’t mind getting dirty.

The celebration will also include Indian food, drink and music. It is sponsored by International Student Services, the International Student Council and the Student Government Association.
