The Potter Art Gallery at Missouri Western State University will host two national ceramics exhibitions Feb. 24 through March 24. An opening reception for “Twin Cups” and “Off the Table,” free and open to the public, will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24. The national exhibitions are hosted by the MWSU Clay Guild.

“Twin Cups” features functional or sculptural representations of a pair of cups, mugs or other drinking vessels. The juror for “Twin Cups” is Ted Neal, professor of ceramics in the School of Art at Ball State University in Indiana.

“Off the Table” features functional or sculptural forms designed to hang on a wall. The juror for “Off the Table” is Margaret Bohls, associate professor of art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The Potter Art Gallery is located at the front entrance to Potter Hall on Missouri Western’s campus. It is open 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and admission is free. For more information, email gallery@missouriwestern.edu.
