Missouri Western State University has named a new director of admissions and associate director of admissions.

Peggy Payne has been named director of admissions. Payne has been at Missouri Western since 1998, starting as admissions counselor/articulation coordinator. In 2005, she became assistant director of admissions, and has served as interim director since January, 2016. Previously, Payne worked in admissions offices at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Cloud County Community College and McPherson College. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration/Economics from McPherson College.

Dixie Williams has been named associate director of admissions. Williams has been the assistant director of admissions-transfer coordinator at Missouri State University since 2008. Previously, she served as coordinator for first-year experience programs at Missouri Southern State University and as assistant director of student activities for Greek life and hall director at Missouri State. Williams earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Missouri Western, and her Master of Science in College Student Affairs from Eastern Illinois University.
