Missouri Western State University will host a celebration of Holi, an ancient Hindu spring festival also known as the Festival of Colors, from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 on the marching band practice field, on South 50th Street behind the residence halls. The celebration is free and open to the public.

This is the first time Missouri Western has held a Holi celebration. The day’s events will include dancing, singing and throwing of powder paint.

The Festival of Colors is sponsored by International Student Services, the Graduate School, and Days Inn.
