The Golden Griffon Pep Band of Missouri Western State University will kick off the first MWSU Midday Melodies of the spring semester at 12:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26 at Kelley Commons, the patio area just west of Blum Student Union. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the Blum Food Court. The brief concert is free and open to the public.

The Student Government Association will provide free snacks for students while supplies last, and Aramark will allow take-out lunches.

Midday Melodies features monthly performances by student and faculty ensembles. The final two performances of the series will be:

March 25: MWSU Percussion Ensemble

April 29: MWSU Chamber Singers
