planetariumThe Bushman Planetarium at Missouri Western State University will present two shows suitable for children in grades K-3 starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2. The Planetarium is located in Agenstein Hall. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children, students and senior citizens. They may be purchased at the door or in advance at www.missouriwestern.edu/planetarium.

The shows presented are:

“The Secret of the Cardboard Rocket” – Embark on an outstanding adventure as two children spend a night touring the solar system alongside their ship’s navigator, an astronomy book.

“Moon Witch” – A young girl frightened by legends of the Moon Witch is comforted by her mother, and together they learn how wonderful the Moon truly is.

The Bushman Planetarium features a Digistar 4 projection system and a dome that is slightly tilted, rather than directly overhead, making viewing easier. Doors open 20 minutes before show time.
