Mr. and Miss Black Student Union will be crowned at the fourth annual Black Student Union Pageant at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13 in the Kemper Recital Hall, Spratt 101 on the campus of Missouri Western State University. Admission is free.

Contestants in the pageant will showcase a talent, give a speech on a selected social topic concerning the black community, and perform the African American art form of hip-hop within a cypher.

Winners will be members of the Black Student Union executive board in 2015-2016. They will also receive a scholarship, including an all-expenses paid trip to the 2016 Big XII Conference on Black Student Government in Lawrence, Kansas, next February.
