The second concert of the Midday Melodies Series at Missouri Western State University will feature the Student Jazz Ensemble at 12:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Kelley Commons, the patio area just west of Blum Student Union. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Student Government Association will provide free snacks for students, while supplies last, and Aramark will allow take-out lunches. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved inside to the Blum Food Court.

Midday Melodies features monthly performances by student and faculty ensembles. Future concerts include:

December 11 – Fountain City Chamber Players, Holiday Showcase

February 26 – MWSU Golden Griffon Pep Band

March 25 – Percussion Ensemble

April 29 – Chamber Singers
