The Department of Music and the School of Fine Arts at Missouri Western State University are pleased to introduce MWSU Midday Melodies, a series of campus concerts at the Kelley Commons, the stage and patio area on the west side of Blum Student Union. The concerts are free and open to the public.

MWSU Midday Melodies will feature monthly performances by student and faculty ensembles. The Student Government Association will provide free snacks for students while supplies last, and Aramark will offer a box lunch option that can be taken outside. In the case of inclement weather, activities will be held in the Food Court.

Music will begin at 12:15 and the schedule is as follows:

  • September 25 – Faculty Jazz Combo
  • October 30 – Jazz Ensemble
  • November 20 – Faculty Brass Quintet
  • December 11 – Fountain City Chamber Players, Holiday Showcase
  • February 26 – MWSU Golden Griffon Pep Band
  • March 25 – Percussion Ensemble
  • April 29 – Chamber Singers
