The Center for Multicultural Education and the Counseling Center at Missouri Western State University along with the YWCA will sponsor a viewing and panel discussion of the documentary “The Hunting Ground” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1 in the Fulkerson Center. A sexual assault survivor will participate in the panel discussion. The event is free and open to the public.

“The Hunting Ground” examines sexual assaults on college campuses from the point of view of victims seeking justice while suffering harassment and retaliation on campus.

The documentary is part of CME Week at Missouri Western. Other activities include:

  • Finding the Faith Ice Cream Social, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, Blum Student Union lobby. Students are invited to enjoy ice cream while learning about religious organizations on campus and in the community.
  • Community Service at St. Joseph Museums, 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, sign up in Blum 210.
