The Career Development Center at Missouri Western State University is celebrating its grand reopening with a St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Eder Hall, room 202. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

“The Career Development Center has services to meet the needs of the contemporary university student and employers,” said Kay-Lynn Taylor, Career Development Center director.

The updated Career Development Center now provides students, employers and guests access to fully technologically equipped workstations, an employer workspace, interview room and meeting space. The center has expanded personnel and developed additional programs to better prepare Missouri Western students for careers.
