Olathe East High School was named Grand Champion of the 2014 Tournament of Champions high school marching band competition at Missouri Western State University on Oct. 14.

Olathe East also won first in the Class 5A competition, and won awards for outstanding color guard and for outstanding soloist. A total of 17 high schools competed.
