R. Patt Lilly, St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce president and CEO, will be the guest speaker at Eggs and Issues Sept. 30.

The Missouri Western State University Eggs and Issues Speaker Series presents “The Rise of the St. Joseph Economy” by R. Patt Lilly, president and CEO of the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce, at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 in the Fulkerson Center on the Missouri Western campus. The breakfast is free, but reservations are required by calling 816-271-5646 by Wednesday, Sept. 24.

Lilly will talk about the impacts on the local economy over the last 20 years and how St. Joseph became “one of the top consistently growing communities in the country over the past decade.”

Lilly served as St. Joseph city manager from 1990 to 1996, as Chamber president and CEO from 1996 to 2006 and as chief administrative officer for Triumph Foods from 2006 to 2013, when he returned to the Chamber.

Lilly was named as one of Ingram’s “50 Missourians You Should Know” in the Kansas City business magazine’s June 2014 edition.
