The Center for Student Involvement at Missouri Western State University is now accepting registrations from local businesses, community organizations and Missouri Western departments and student groups to participate in the Western Warm-Up Kickoff Aug. 25. The annual festival gives participating businesses and organizations a chance to display their services and goods to Missouri Western students as they begin the new school year. More than 1,000 students typically attend.

Registration fees include a 6-foot table, two chairs and advertising to students. Registration fees for businesses are $25 by Aug. 15 or $35 after Aug. 15. Non-profit organizations are charged $10, and there is no charge for Missouri Western departments and organizations registered by Aug. 15.

Businesses and organizations are encouraged to provide information and free samples, but sales and credit card solicitations are prohibited.
