Missouri Western State University will offer a special type of stress relief during finals week: the company of therapy dogs.  Seasoned registered therapy dogs, Chandler and Bailey, will be available from 3 to 4 p.m. every day from April 29 through May 6 in Eder Hall 208.

“There will be an unconditionally loving, supportive furry presence on hand to comfort those who are looking to take a break.” said Dr. Melinda Kovács, assistant professor of political science, and their handler. “The dogs welcome anyone who would enjoy visiting with them.” While this program is first and foremost for Missouri Western students, faculty and staff are also invited to stop by for a break that involves petting dogs.
