The Center for Multicultural Education at Missouri Western State University will offer free “Safe Zone Training” from 3-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15 in Murphy Hall, room 201.

“Safe Zone Training” is designed to help people become more effective allies for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and intersex persons. Participants will learn how to be comfortable when talking about sexuality, the importance of inclusive language, creating safe spaces and how to be a supportive ally.
