The Department of Theatre and Cinema and the School of Fine Arts at Missouri Western State University present Steve Martin’s “Picasso at the Lapin Agile,” Feb. 13-16. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday in the Potter Hall Theater at Missouri Western. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for faculty, staff and military, and $6 for students. “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” is the third production in Missouri Western’s 2013-2014 theatre season, “A Season of Laughter.” The absurdly amusing comedy is the first full-length play written by Martin, the actor, comedian and musician. It tells of a fictional meeting in a Paris bar between Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso, each on the verge of their greatest accomplishments. They and other bar patrons discuss and debate the relationship between art, science, talent and genius.

The play is directed by Tee Quillin, assistant professor of theatre and cinema. Cast members include:
