The Missouri Western State University department of art, in conjunction with the Missouri Western Library, will host a photography display, “Our Lives Through Books: An Exhibition of Photographs,” created by students.  The exhibit is on the main floor of the library in the Hearnes Center on campus.

 Students with artwork featured are Aza Francis, a sophomore from St. Joseph; Elizabeth Allen, a senior from Hamilton Mo.; Cherlynn C. Frizell, a junior from St. Joseph; Kelli Stratton, a senior from St. Joseph; and Deborah Weems, from St. Joseph. The students are in ART 460: Photomedia III, which is taught by Rebecca Foley, assistant professor of photography and interactive design.  

An opening reception will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23.  Refreshments will be provided.
