  • Apply for Admission

    The fall semester application deadline for undergraduate students is July 1. Fall deadline for graduate studies is June 15.

    The spring semester application deadline for undergraduate students is November 1. Spring deadline for graduate studies is October 15.

  • Pay your $50 Application fee

  • Official transcripts from each secondary school and post-secondary institution attended

    An official transcript must be one of the following:

    • A hard copy transcript mailed by your secondary school in a sealed envelope and translated if necessary to the following address:

    • A digital transcript emailed from a school official through an official institutional email that can be verified on the school’s website. GMAIL is not acceptable.
    • West African countries – WAEC exam results that can be verified with a scratch card.
    • If the transcript is from a post-secondary institution outside of the United States, an official course analysis evaluation is required. The Evaluation Company or WES is our recommended service.
    • In addition to transcripts in the native language, certified translation must be attached to the official transcript.
  • English Proficiency

    Students must meet one of the following to prove English proficiency:

    • You have or will complete 3 years of secondary or post-secondary education in a school whose primary language is English, as indicated by official transcripts.
    • Transfer from a U.S. college or university with a C or better in an approved English composition course.
    • Attain one of the following scores on an English proficiency test:

  • Copy of passport

    Submit a copy of your current passport.

  • Acceptance

    Congratulations, you’re a Griffon! Please submit the following items as soon as you can. 

  • Financial documentation

    Students must submit:

    • Financial support form via the application portal.
    • Current bank statement:
      • Must show that you or your sponsor has at least $33,488 for undergraduate students and $30,598 for graduate students.
      • Must include available funds, account holder’s name and number, date of issue within 6 months, and bank officer signature.
      • If a sponsor is listed, the sponsor will receive an email and have to fill out the sponsor support form.
  • Transfer Students Only:

    International students transferring from another university inside United States must also submit:

    • Transfer-In Form on your application portal.
    • Copy of your current visa
    • Copy of your current I-20
  • Obtain I-20 Form

    This is the immigration document needed to obtain an F-1 visa interview at your local US embassy. You will not be able to enter the country without an approved visa and I-20.
