Expense Estimates – International (Non-immigrant Visa Holders)
Proof of financial support is required to receive your I-20. Below you will find the estimated costs for two semesters (9 months) for the 2025-2026 academic year. Please note these are estimated totals.

***Graduate living expenses are estimates for average rental cost per huduser.gov based on double occupancy ($1,050 each person for a shared apartment with 2 people), this includes shared gas and electricity cost, and groceries for two people for 12 months.
****Airfare ($1500 round trip), bedding and personal comfort items ($1100) and Textbooks & Supplies ($1200).
*****Health Insurance Plan is automatically included on the student bill. Waivers permitted for US-based employer plans for dependents or for visiting students on program sponsored plans. (i.e. buying your own travel insurance plan in your country will not waive the health insurance plan). Note: The USA health insurance system has user costs when insurance is accessed. Copays, Coinsurance, and Deductibles are not represented in the costs estimates on this page.
******Dependent cost is an estimate of the cost differential for housing, utilities, food, and added school costs. Actual amount will vary. Used purely as funding source demonstration of student funding to support their family and studies in the United States.
I-20 Costs for Travel, Health Insurance, Personal, etc. include: Textbooks and Personal Expenses, Health Insurance, and New Orientation Fee. Additional costs for leisure travel, social events, clothes, and summer term tuition and undergraduate living expenses, are not included in estimates.
