Missouri Western Engineering Technology majors have the opportunity to be admitted to a dual degree program between the Missouri Western State University Department of Engineering Technology and The University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Computing and Engineering.

This program is designed for students interested in both a B.S. in Engineering Technology and a B. S. in Engineering (Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering). Students in the program complete the first three years of study in Engineering Technology at Missouri Western State University and two additional years at the University of Missouri–Kansas City in Engineering to earn two B.S. degrees in five years.

To be eligible for the dual degree option, students must complete the designated course series outlined in the articulation agreement and must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
