Last year, the comedians visited Western with other comedians to film a show.

The Center for Student Involvement hosts the annual Griffapalooza Comedy Show that is free to students. It occurs the week right before finals just in time for students to relieve some stress before their heads get in the books.

Isaiah Collier, assistant dean of Student Development, said that it is a good break for finals to get students to laugh.

“It gets students outside of their residence halls and get onstage and laugh with one another,” Collier said. “Everybody loves to laugh so why not bring a comedian to campus?”

During the show, students got the chance to go onstage and play some games with the comedians. For example, one game from the show called “Let Me Holla,” is played by using a funny pick-up line on a girl.

Clarissa Blakely was one of the girls who were onstage during the game.
