About the Certificate:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This program is designed to help participants get started with virtual reality (VR) development. Participants will learn the basic skills and terminology of VR. Create 3d assets through Blender. Animate and code assets in Unity to create a scene with player controller and intractable environment through basic code. Learn the production workflow for VR Video Games and interactive 3D content. Create a small video game\/interactive experience prototype to showcase the skills developed.<\/p>\n

  • Import\/export from Unity<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Player controller for game prototype<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Interactives events<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Final scene in Unity with correct assets created in Blender and basic code for interactivity<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    MWSU Center for Workforce Development is partnering with OmniLifeVR to provide this certificate. OmniLife is a provider of Virtual Reality technology, OmniLife VR works with organizations to provide the latest VR equipment and experiences. With their experience, combined with the latest VR technology, they help transform people\u2019s lives into Magical Immersive Experiences. Helping organizations select the perfect experiences with Interactive entertainment, learning and therapy. Our hope is to impact organizations with VR solutions, so that users, customers, guests or patients may engage in a new world of wonder through visuals, sound and interactions.<\/p>\n

    Tuition<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    Tuition for the Spring 2022<\/span> Basics of VR Development Certificate program is $1,000.<\/span> Tuition is non-refundable and due in-full in order for the application to be processed. This certificate will consist of 3 hours per session, 1 session per week for 9 weeks.<\/span> Class starts February 7, 2022.<\/span> Registration deadline is January 28, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n
