This course will briefly review the six classes of nutrients, energy balance and physical fitness to assist in disclosing the myths and misconceptions of current weight loss schemes.
Behavioral as well as non-behavioral approaches to weight loss will be examined.
Ultimately, the student will be able to develop a personalized strategy for successful and permanent weight loss.
Class taken via internet through Moodle. Students MUST have internet access and contact the instructor before the first day of class.
