Research Projects

At Missouri Western, you will have opportunities to work with your professors and peers on real research projects, something that other schools reserve for graduate students.

Each semester, you can present your research at Multidisciplinary Research Day, where you can share your results with a vast audience and explore research from other areas of study.

Griffons get noticed for their research:

  • Received a $1.1 million synthetic biology research grant
  • Worked with the Centers for Disease Control on a newly discovered virus
  • Created and produced a local commercial that aired during the Super Bowl
  • Published undergraduate research
  • Presented research at the National American Chemical Society Conference

Griffons have taken their adventures off campus to:

  • See a classical play in England
  • Practice nursing in Honduras
  • Present research in Malta
