Study Abroad and Exchange Programs

Kyungnam University (Changwon, South Korea)

You have two options for study at Kyungnam University:

  1. Study at Kyungnam University for a semester or an academic year. If you choose this option you will pay tuition and fees to Missouri Western. In exchange, you will be enrolled in the equivalent of twelve (12) credit hours of course work at Kyungnam University
    • All other costs of attending Kyungnam University, including housing and meals, will be your responsibility.
    • Once accepted into the program, you will be eligible to receive assistance in locating housing from Kyungnam University.
  2. Study at Kyungnam University as part of the Global Hanma Program. This short-term study abroad experience occurs in August just before Missouri Western’s fall semester begins. The purpose of the Global Hanma Program is to provide students with an introduction to South Korean life and culture. If you choose this option you will pay tuition and fees to Missouri Western.  In exchange, you will:
    • Be enrolled in the Global Hanma Program.
    • Receive room and board at Kyungnam University for the duration of the program.
    • Earn the equivalent of three (3) credit hours at Missouri Western.
    • All other costs of participating in the Global Hanma program will be your responsibility.
