The Campus Cupboard, located on the second floor of Blum Union in room 214, provides Missouri Western students with supplemental food when they may not be able to afford nutritional staples.

Operating hours for the Cupboard are from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the academic school year. However, if a student would like to request a different day/time to come visit the Cupboard after hours, they can either stop by the Student Affairs office in Blum Union room 228, email studentaffairs@missouriwestern.edu or call us at (816) 271-4432.

The Campus Cupboard is a valuable campus resource that has served many students since its opening in 2015. It was developed through the collaborative efforts of the Rotaract Club, and Dr. Elise Hepworth in the Music Dept. The Division of Student Affairs staff currently oversees the operation of the Cupboard. The Cupboard is supplied with canned goods, and other non-perishable items, along with some personal care products. This is the result of campus food drives, and donations from individuals, business partners, as well as student and community organizations.

Students may visit the cupboard up to twice a month. The maximum allotment per visit is two (2) plastic grocery bags. The student must present a valid student ID. Items that are always in high need tend to be canned meat, condensed milk or shelf stable milk that is non-perishable, pasta noodles, and peanut butter.
