Student Employment serves to connect students with meaningful job opportunities while pursuing a degree.
EARN: Help pay for educational expenses while pursuing your degree.
LEARN: Gain valuable transferable skills needed to reach your career goals.
CONNECT: Become a valued member of the campus and community workforce.
All available job opportunities (on-Campus, off-Campus, community based work-study, internships, etc.) are posted in Handshake, the University’s Online Career Management Portal. Handshake allows current students and alumni 24/7 access to job listings and future career opportunities. Current students can access their profile by logging into their Goldlink account.
You may visit the Career Development Center, located in Eder 202, for additional assistance with Handshake and to make an appointment to have a 1:1 peer-led resume review with one of our trained Career Mentors.
The best way to prepare for an interview is to research the company, review traditional and behavioral interview questions, and participate in mock interviews. You can schedule a mock interview by calling the career center.
MWSU students can also practice their interview skills at anytime with our virtual mock interview training system, Big Interview.
View events, including job fairs on the Career Services homepage. Career Services also sends emails to all students regarding events and will post announcements in the Griffon Weekly online publication.
