The Missouri Western State University Foundation and the Division of Student Affairs invite all full-time Missouri Western students who have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average and a desire to learn about servant leadership to apply to be a part of the 2020 Barbara Sprong Leadership Challenge.

The Barbara Sprong Leadership Challenge provides Missouri Western students an opportunity to acquire and enhance leadership skills by learning about themselves and from key local, national, and national leaders. The program is named in honor of Barbara Sprong, former member and president of the Missouri Western Board of Regents, and a past leader in the St. Joseph Community.
Students who complete the program without absences will receive one hour of class credit–Motivation and Leadership: CED 121. The class is limited to 24 students each spring.

The course meets each Wednesday, beginning February 19, 2020 and ending Wednesday, April 29, 2020. The course meets from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in Spratt 201 (please note that the class will not meet during spring break).

Compromise
Leading/following
Multiculturalism and leadership
Government leadership
